First day of school 2009

I know there are a lot of moms saying they can't believe their five year old is going to kindergarten but I'm not one of them. She has been so ready for school for so long it seems like she has always run out to the bus every morning! Yes that is a scrambled egg sandwich, never mind that we were up at the crack of dawn we still were running late!

New Car

So we bought a new car, a Jetta, she is gold, cost us about 2 grand we named her Blanche (the e is silent) I'll post pictures later! Blanche is named after Jay's dog he had while growing up his dog was deaf and with a deaf dog come special problems unique only to them. Blanche (the car) was born in 1995 it's now 2009 she has some special problems, we don't know what they are yet but we know that things start to act up in something as old as Blanche...we love Blanche!

Sometime this summer

since I'm blogging I should put in important info like Miles had a check up oh sometime this summer and he weighed 12 pounds 8 oz and was 26 inches long. He's getting bigger every day. Megan and Hannah set up a corner of their room with a baby blanket on the floor, diapers, wipes, two changes of clothes and jammies. They are the best little mommies Meg and Hayden change diapers all the time Meg actually enjoys it which works out great for me. Hence the changing station there was just nowhere to take care of business! Oh and also a little bucket for dirty clothes.

Hot Rod

Jay switched jobs this week so we need to find a second vehicle. In the mean time we are borrowing a murdercyle (my dad's words) from some friends talk about a guy magnet if that thing is in the driveway men can't resist stopping by. Little boys can't resist it either...Jay took about 20 shots of Row and he never would look at the camera. I think he and Mason look like they could be brothers, those brown eyes are so cute.

Sharing lessons

Miles is such a great sleeper my only complaint is he likes to stay up till 11:00 every night but I guess on the up side I'm getting some blogging done right? Today I had a reunion of sorts with my BYU roommates. We had a blast, it's crazy to think that we were once 4 add husbands and kids and now we're 18 for those of you doing the math at home I single handedly produced 50 % of the kids! The main attraction at our house is a yellow tractor little boys can not resist it! Oh and sorry Heidi, we share at our house. Let me just note that I was not the photographer. Oh as usual I put the pictures up in the wrong order it looks like Mason stole this but he was drinking it first and Row wanted some so he shared;)

On a roll

Well we did get a new camera at some point so Jay had taken up a new hobby. I like the digital aspect of camera's because you can take as many photo's as you want and not worry about "wasting" film but now I have 100 shots of the same thing and never sure which one to delete so my hard drive gets pretty clogged! The following are fourth of July photo's. Except for Hannah's I liked this picture better than the one we got at the pool!

Miles

You it's been along time since you blogged when you last blogged about Miles birth and he'll be 6 months old in a couple of weeks! I started him on rice cereal this week he is a Peterson at heart and will eat pretty much until I stop feeding him. Someday he'll change from the lil runt that he is into a big strapping boy like his brothers! I have to point out the very cool bib he's sporting from down under! His Nana and Pa sent that too him.
